A Brief history:
Joe was born and raised in Northern New Mexico and now lives with his wife Janet in Boulder Colorado. A graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara California. Joe began his career using a 4x5 view camera in the studio and on location, but today he is fully involved as a digital photographer using his Nikons for almost all of his assignments. Another change in Joe's workflow is that Photoshop is now the new darkroom and his old chemical darkroom is in storage for a rainy day.
Recently Joe has had a chance to pursue his long-time love of documentary style photography. He's visited Africa twice and recently returned from Central America where he photographed in Costa Rica for Funda Vida, an NGO bringing opportunity to the underserved children living in the back streets of San Jose.
